The NOW with Alex Wagner panel discussed Lance Armstrong’s confession to Oprah Winfrey last night and debated how effective it had been in rehabilitating his image.
“He literally needed performance enhancers last night because that was a terrible performance in every single way,” said Selena Roberts, CEO of Roopstigo. Her fellow panelist, Today Show legal Contributor Star Jones, agreed. “I’m not sure what the point was last night, what he was trying to do,” she said. ” If he was trying to get the public back on his side, that didn’t work.”
The Huffington Post’s Sam Stein was a little more forgiving. “Maybe he was just trying to alleviate a huge burden of guilt that was on his shoulders for a while now,” he suggested.
